Glenfinnan House

This beautiful 18th century pine-panelled mansion house hotel is situated in its own grounds overlooking Loch Shiel, and Ben Nevis and the monument marking the spot where Prince Charles Edward Stuart raised the Standard at the commencement of the 1745 Jacobite Rising. Amidst magnificent scenery its proprietors offer the warmth and welcome of a Highland home.

Shielbridge Hall, Acharacle

This traditional village Hall sits close by the Water at the south end of the Loch. Its raised stage and facilities mean that somewhat larger audiences can be accommodated and the acoustics are good. In addition to the festival, this versatile amenity is the venue for weddings, indoor bowls, country dancing and opera. There are plans to upgrade the hall during the winter with new stage lighting and catering facilities. Available for functions throughout the year.

Refollen House

Located between the villages of Acharacle and Salen, this twentieth century house overlooks a lochan nestling in 16 acres of woodland. Red deer frequently join the resident grey horses to graze in the grounds and the call of a buzzard soaring overhead is often heard. Below, some Loch Shiel Spring Festival sponsors and guests relaxing in the drawing room of Refollen after a recital.
