We have included a strong Scottish influence in this year's programme. The Earl of Kelly and Lennox Berkeley were born in Scotland, whilst Hans Gal was associated with Edinburgh University and lived most of his life in Scotland. All of the artists live and work in Scotland.

a pre concert cruise aboard the M.V. Sileas which will leave Glenfinnan
jetty at 3.30pm and arrive back in time for a pre concert dinner. A
cruise on this beautiful and remote stretch of water makes a lovely and
unique start to the Festival, with regular sightings of red deer, golden eagles and other rare birds.
